Early Childhood Program
The Early Childhood Ministry at St. Rita Catholic Church is pleased to be able to offer two separate programs for children who will be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st. We have a Monday, Wednesday and Friday program and a Tuesday and Thursday program. Our ministry offers faith-based morning sessions that operate on a school year basis.
Our primary objective is to encourage the social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of each child as we embrace the family unit. We encourage parental involvement, present organized family-oriented activities and always operate with an open-door policy. Our program builds a foundation for religious education that will continue to grow as your child progresses through each grade level.
If you are interested in signing your child up or if you need additional information, please call our director, Miss Jana at 793-8544 in the Parish office or email her at stritapre-k@bellsouth.net. We operate with a very low teacher to student ratio and our classes fill up quickly, so register early and don't be left out. Remember, it is never too early to place your child's name on the waiting list.

DAILY ACTIVITIES
Socializing with same age peers.
Enhancing fine motor skills by working with clay, paints, crayons, puzzles, etc.
Enjoying stories, poetry, finger plays, books, music and singing.
Enjoying bible stories and learning about Jesus.
Outside play, everyday, weather permitting.
Family enrichment time.
Beginning Reading and early Math skills.
Pre-K Faith Formation curriculum.
